Why did you start training at Habitual Strength & Conditioning?

– It had a timetable that suited my schedule (early classes), local, good vibes when I met with Jake the first time, it isn’t a big box gym so it was never an overwhelming experience.

What have you achieved since joining? (This can be strength goals, fitness milestones, mindset shifts, or personal wins.)

– I now have a good routine established, look forward to going to the gym, gains in strength, gym friends!

What’s one piece of advice you would give to someone just starting out at HSC/their fitness journey?

– Don’t be nervous, it’s such a welcoming environment and everyone is pushed but only within their abilities, coaches are so good at modifying where needed but inspiring you to push. It’s the least intimidating gym I’ve ever been to.

Rapid Fire

What’s your go-to coffee order?

– Flat whit (soy or oat)

If you had to pick one song as your workout anthem, what would it be?

– Come on!!! How to chose, once it’s a banger with a beat that I can sing to I’m in!!!

Favourite way to spend a rest day?

– Anything that involves the ocean

If you could have dinner with any athlete or famous person, who would it be?

– Tia Claire Twomey or David Attenborough

What’s your guilty pleasure snack?

– Dark Choc

Describe your training style in three words.

– All or nothing

If you could master one skill instantly (fitness-related or not), what would it be?

– Toes to bar

Why did you start training at Habitual Strength & Conditioning?

– I started training at HSC a few months after having shoulder surgery. I had been doing some rehab and training on my own but I was needing a push to get further with my strength and conditioning.

What have you achieved since joining? (This can be strength goals, fitness milestones, mindset shifts, or personal wins.)

– Since joining I’ve been able to do multiple pull ups (which I never thought possible) and achieved lots of other strength and fitness PBs.

What’s one piece of advice you would give to someone just starting out at HSC/their fitness journey?

– You’ll always feel better after a good workout.

Rapid Fire

What’s your go-to coffee order?

– Almond flat white.

– Can’t Hold Us – Macklemore.

Favourite way to spend a rest day?

– With my partner, Freddie, and our doggo, Alfie, at the beach.

If you could have dinner with any athlete or famous person, who would it be?

– Rafael Nadal.

What’s your guilty pleasure snack?

– Twix pods.

Describe your training style in three words.

– Mornings, Consistency, Team

If you could master one skill instantly (fitness-related or not), what would it be?
